The People’s Priorities

THE KEIKI TO KUPUNA SAFETY ACT

The Bottom Line: Working together with law enforcement and community partners to make our neighborhoods and public spaces safer, so everyone in Hawaiʻi can live, walk, and thrive with confidence and peace of mind.

THE BREADWINNER ACT

The Bottom Line: Making Hawaiʻi more affordable by lowering the cost of living so families can better afford housing, food, utilities, transportation, and healthcare. This includes easing taxes, offering tax credits for small businesses, and finding solutions to make housing more affordable so we can keep families in Hawaiʻi. It will also help working families keep more of their hard-earned money and give both families and small businesses a better chance to succeed and thrive.

THE GOD-GIVEN RIGHTS ACT

The Bottom Line: Protecting the basic rights that come from our Creator. These rights belong to every person from the moment of their existence—they are not granted by government and cannot be taken away or surrendered. The Constitution exists to safeguard these freedoms, ensuring fair treatment for all and preventing those in power from violating them. By preserving these rights, we protect the foundation of a free and just society for everyone.
